About Forex Spread Betting with Finotec

We offer an extensive service in Forex Spread Betting. You may place Spot and Forward bets on a broad range of currency pairs. Choose from over 40 forex pairs including majors and a variety of currency crosses.

Our spreads are among the most competitive in the industry of forex spread betting, with spreads lower than 3 pips on majors. Spread betting on currencies with Finotec Spread Betting is a smart way to diversify your portfolio and access the highly profitable currency markets.

The main difference between a forex spread bet and a regular forex trade is that you decide how much you want your stake to be per point. As with spread betting on shares, you may decide to buy or to sell (go short) if you expect a decrease in the currency rate.

In Forex Spread Betting with Finotec, the amount you deposit is equal to the amount you are betting on (the amount you are willing to win – or to lose).

How does it work?

First, you need to have an idea of where the market is heading. To help you, we have put together a series of advanced spread trading tools, including charts and indicators, available on our Spread Betting Software.

Choose the currency pair you wish to trade and “go long” (buy) if you believe the base currency (the first quoted in the pair) will strengthen against the second one – the quote currency; and “go short” (sell), if you believe if it will weaken.

Like regular forex trades, forex spread betting is done on the short term as well as on the long term. Your position will remain open until you decide to close it (except if you place a stop loss or a take profit order).

You must also decide the stake or how much you are willing to bet for each point. In Forex spread betting, a point is a pip (the last digit of the quote we offer – usually the fourth decimal).
